Sooooo I decided to just go ahead and delete my corrupted e-mail account. What does this mean?
- I’ve lost thousands of emails. (omg, I’m popular).
- I’ve unsubscribed to hundreds of “health and wellness” newsletters that I probably should have unsubscribed to months ago.
- I deleted my entire google reader feed.
In other words, this is probably the best thing that could have happened to me.
For some reason I feel such a sense of relief. I think all of the emails / subscriptions / blog feeds were really weighing me down in terms of recovery and, to be honest, just being happy in general. I’m really excited at the prospect of starting fresh!
Unfortunately, the one thing that I was heartbroken to have lost was all of the ThurvivED posts that you awesome ladies sent me. I feel AWFUL about that and I’m praying that anyone who sent me one still has them saved. If so, PLEASE shoot me an e-mail at my new address! and for any newcomers who want to participate, you can read all about my ThurvivED series here.
Thanks guys! Love you!

gah! you are handling it so well, i hate any sort of technology issue. hang in there! what a way to be forced into a fresh start
Sometimes it’s good to just start over.
I love how you’re coping — you’re choosing to be optimistic, and that shows amazing resilience. It’s almost like moving to a new city — you can build yourself a whole new identity!! A healthy one that is fully YOU. Leave your past in the past, never forget it, but keep moving forward.
Sending strength and love, as always!!
Everything happens for a reason
Love the ‘tude girlie, but don’t forget about me! <3
About a year ago I unsubscribed to all healthy living blogs except for about 10. Now I’m down to mayyyybe 5. And it was the best thing that ever happened to me. God’s giving you a sign
My advice? Fill that reader back up with stuff you genuinely enjoy reading, whether or not you’ll ever actually comment. Mine has some of the most random blogs ever (um, hello mommy blogs, craft blogs and a site in which every recipe includes beer), but I love it!
AMEN to this!
YES! do you have any recs for good non-HLB blogs?!
Right now my few favorites are The College Prepster for organization/new product news/fun little lists and things, Capitol Hill Style for work outfit inspiration (it’s the BEST resource when you have to dress professionally every day!), and The Beeroness because everysinglerecipe includes beer. And that is awesome. Oh, and Brooke (Simply Bee) just has the most gorgeous random pictures to look at!
I just found this blog and I’m obsessed! http://or-so-i-feel.blogspot.com
nnnnnooooooooo
well at least i know how you feel! so frustrating
